Park turned in a good performance featuring good passing, particularly in the first half.

Saunders gave her side the lead in the opening period but an enforced substitution in the second half allowed Didsbury to get back into the game.

Winnington continued to play good hockey in patches and Campagnaro struck to regain the lead.

There were also good performances from Chris Davies, Karen Morgan and Katy Burrows.

Park begin their North of England League Division One campaign next week at Leyland Motors.

The club's second team travelled to Warrington and ended the first half 1-0 up after an excellent display of two touch hockey and a goal from Julie Rafferty.

Park could have been further ahead thanks to some excellent attacking passing, particularly from Kathy Kennedy.

In the second period, everything changed as Park tired allowing the home side to hit back with two late goals. In the end, match fitness proved crucial.
