Last week the Northwich Guardian recorded the moment when Keith, of Summerfield Drive, Moulton proposed to Carol over the public address system at Morrisons in Winsford.
Now the couple, who met through the Northwich Guardian's Two's Company have been invited onto the This Morning TV show.
"I really thought it was a wind up," said Keith.
"But apparently Russell Grant, the astrologer, has said the present star alignment is the best in 2,000 years for falling in love so we are appearing with him on the show."
