The group, called the Ascoll Drive Residents Association, is protesting against plans for a distribution centre at Long Wood, which could be bigger than Morrisons.
These plans are currently being debated as part of Vale Royal Borough Council's local plan inquiry at which the Association will be making representations.
To boost their campaign they erected several signs along the A556 reading 'Say No To Vale Royal Warehouse Plan Now'
But the signs were removed, yesterday morning, Tuesday, leaving members furious.
"These signs were no bigger than estate agents signs and we don't see them being removed. Some were on private property which is trespass," said a spokesman.
"We are only trying to make people aware of what will happen if this goes ahead. It's amazing when you start talking to people. They just aren't aware of what's happening at all."
She added: "This is not just going to affect the people in the area but everyone using the A556."
