Betty, who has been behind the bar at the Weaverham pub for 27 years, clinched the Northwich Guardian's Bar Person of the Year award at the Northwich Beer Festival Last week.
But Betty missed the big event itself - she was on the other side of the bar in Gran Canaria.
"It was lovely to hear that I'd won," said Betty, 57.
"It's a nice surprise when you've just come back from holiday to get an award like this."
A staggering total of 400 regulars voted for Betty in our competition, making her the queen of the beer pumps.
And it's an honour some might say she has deserved.
"I've never won anything like this before," she added.
"But there's no reason for me to stop now. I'm going on strong until someone decides to tell me to stop."
Many of the voters turned up to congratulate Betty at a presentation by the Guardian and the Northwich Rotary Clubs at the Ring o' Bells on Monday.
Betty's prize is a luxury break for two, courtesy of Jarvis Hotels.
She'll be staying at the five-crown recommended Jarvis Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester.
Boasting some of the finest facilities in Manchester, the hotel has offered a full English breakfast to Betty on both mornings of her stay, as well as a trip to the hotel's new £1 million Arts Bar and Grill.
And there's even a trip to the Manchester Museum of Science an Industry, too - thanks again to Jarvis Hotels.
"I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me," said Betty.
"I'm feeling very good indeed."
