KNYPERSLEY Vics are looking to sign a new centre half after parting company with Steve Wilkes.
Wilkes was told his services were not longer required because of his disciplinary record, following his latest sending off against Arnold Town.
Wilkes' departure heralded the start of a planned major shake-up at the club following the Vics' poor start to the season.
First team coach Greg Clowes has also left after several seasons with the Vics, being replaced by Knypersley centre forward Mick Biddle.
In addition Biddulph player Terry Stanway has been appointed as assistant manager.
Knypersley went down 4-0 at home to Barwell in the league on Saturday despite dominating the game and creating numerous chances.
Barwell took the lead on 33 minutes against the run of play, and added a second three minutes into the second half.
