THE work of the Chester Record Office will be revealed at the first meeting of Nantwich Historical Society next week.
Members will be able to quiz John Hopkins about aspects of the county's past and present at the first lecture of the new season.
This will be held at 7.30pm at Nantwich Library on Wednesday, October 7, when new members and visitors will be welcomed
Subscriptions remain the same; £5 per member, students £3 visitors £1 per meeting.
Successive lectures will be at 7.45pm on the first Wednesday of the month. For more details contact minutes secretary Ruth Harding on 01270 560434.
