NANTWICH is set for a flashback to the swinging 60s as the latest Solid Gold night arrives at the Civic Hall.
Birmingham band The Fortunes, who first hit the big time with a string of hits in the middle of the exciting era, will headline the event next Friday, October 9.
The group, supported by California Blue and Adeva Disco, add another dimension to classic pop songs with their tightly choreographed programme, using sophisticated orchestration, dual lead vocals and stylish counter-melodies.
Songs such as "You've Got Troubles," "Here it Comes Again" and "Storm in a Teacup" have stood the test of time and are certain to feature on an impressive play list. For tickets ring 01270 665775.
