SANDBACH'S top brass have come up trumps in a major musical competition.
Fodens brass band served up a winning performance at the Harry Ramsden's 70th Jubilee Brass Band Masters competition.
The local ensemble beat eleven of the country's top bands to become Best of Brass.
Conductor Nicholas Childs said the band were celebrating a triple win.
"It has been a very enjoyable contest and we are extremely pleased to win," he said.
"We came first with the band, our principal euphonium player Glyn Williams took the top soloist prize and I'm pleased to boast the trophy for top conductor."
