BIRD lovers are being urged to keep an eye out for a baby cockatoo who was stolen from her cage last week.
Jasmine, a four-month-old cockatoo, was taken from Pets At Home last Wednesday, just before the store closed.
Assistant manager Paul Blow said she had been getting used to people before being introduced to customers.
"She is very friendly towards adults but not so much with children for some reason and it is more like having a dog than a bird," he said.
"But they are difficult birds to look after and our biggest concern is that it could cause her stress and they are very prone to heart attacks."
Jasmine is about 18 inches high, white all over with a yellow crest. If anyone has any information about her please call Crewe police on 500222 or Pets At Home on 251788.
