TOMMY Martyn says Saints are full confidence going into tonight's, Friday's, clash with Bradford Bulls.

The stand off has shaken off thigh strain after a week's rest and is raring to go as the play-offs start at Knowsley Road.

He adds: "We know we can make it to Old Trafford playing the way we are at the moment. Backs against the wall rugby like this is our strength so this competition was made for us.

"Everyone is feeling relaxed in training and the atmosphere is great. Playing Bradford is always a big game and it could be Graeme Bradley's last game before he retires so he'll be desperate for a win."

Martyn is also looking forward to resuming his budding half back relationship with the ever improving Sean Long.

He says: "Sean has come on in leaps and bounds this year. Just being included in the Emerging England squad really gave him a boost as well.

"He's been in and out of the team here until halfway through the season and it was the same for him at Wigan and Widnes as well and it's been hard for him to settle and really get his confidence up.

"Now he's managed that, he's really taking players on and causing problems for teams. We've got a great understanding and get on well on and off the field so it's a pleasure to play alongside him."
