BOSSES at Greenalls are blaming poor weather over the summer and a slowdown in trading conditions for 20 redundancies announced this week in their administration department.
The compulsory redundancies, in departments including marketing and buying, have all come in the main office on Greenalls Avenue.
A Greenalls spokesman confirmed that the redundancies had been announced at emergency meetings on Monday.
"All departments in the main office will be affected in varying degrees," said the spokesman. "There is an effort to try to re-deploy some people, or give them the chance to apply for vacancies elsewhere in the group.
"The leaving date has been set at November 27. Anyone who wants to look for other.
