Staff will be touring the Northwich area throughout the Autumn to save potential sellers the bother of visiting their office.

"We're on the road visiting several different locations on various dates during October and November," said Stephen Nixon, manager of the firm's Northwich branch.

"We can offer customers a time that suits them for a visit by one of our experienced team, a free market appraisal of their home and their own personalised marketing report that's full of advice - all without charge or obligation.

"Not everyone can get to our office during the week and so we're going on tour to see people when it's convenient for them, in the comfort of their own home."

Swetenhams will be putting up notices locally to advertise where their staff will be and when.

Staff are due to visit the following areas: Hartford today, Wednesday, Davenham on October 14; Winnington on October 21, Weaverham on October 28, Wincham on November 5 and Comberbach on November 12.
