With regard to his criticism that it is flimsy, it is light and easy to handle?
Yes, it is bottomless. It has to be in order to work properly.
He criticises it for being a 'black plastic dustbin'. Well black helps to absorb heat from the sunlight and the plastic is recycled.
It is deliberately made conical to avoid looking like a dustbin.
Despite its lack of attractive features, it is guaranteed by the manufacturer for 10 years. My thanks go to Vale Royal Borough Council for providing it at a price which made it affordable to many.
Perhaps Mr Bruce would be happier with a set of garden gnomes (well made, of course, and incorporating attractive features).
