The meeting will start at 7pm at Weaverham Road Methodist Church in Sandiway, and is designed to pull together as much information about the murder as possible.

"This is not an idea that has been tried before, as far as I am aware," said DCI Peter Rigby, in charge of the case.

"What we are hoping to do is to eliminate the large number of people and vehicles that remain unidentified."

Following an introduction by DCI Rigby and his team, the meeting will begin with a minute's silence in memory of Mrs Webb.

People will then have three opportunities to discuss any information they may have on Mrs Webb's murder, which took place in Kennel Lane on July 22.

They will be:

An open discussion, led by DCI Rigby, featuring e-fits and reconstructions of unknown cars and individuals

A 'coffee break' session, in which you can talk one-to-one with an investigating officer about your information

A form which will be handed out to each visitor, on which you can write out anything you have to offer, and which can be returned at the end of the meeting.

In addition, the meeting will be attended by members of DCI Rigby's Crime Prevention team, who will offer advice on personal safety for anyone out walking alone, or with a dog.

"My hope is that the meeting will make things a lot simpler for us as far as the investigation goes," DCI Rigby added.

"There are definitely still people whom we need to identify, and if this meeting can reveal them, then that's a good result."

In the meantime, forensics experts are re-examining the evidence from the murder, in a bid to see if anything was missed in the first investigations.
