THE steamy world of soap opera returned to the village of Lymm this week
Security was tight as the cast and crew of Scouse soap Brookside filmed scenes for a Christmas video special at St Mary's Church on Higher Lane.
Cast and crew were in Lymm in August and have returned to finish scenes for an explosive video follow up to Lost Weekend.
A secret Brookside source revealed at the time that fireworks were set to fly at the wedding of Lyndsey Corkhill and hairdresser beau Peter Phelan. She discovers he has had a fling with an ex-girlfriend. Former page three beauty Linda Lusardi - Peter Phelan's wife - makes a guest appearance as the potential marriage wrecker.
The location manager praised the village and the church on the last visit and hinted that it could become part of a longer running storyline.
