LITTLE Liam Henry is flying high in his chosen career - and he's only eight years old!
Liam, of Wensleydale Close, Whittle Hall, is the star of the new British Airways adverts, currently being shown on television.
The young actor plays 'The Critic' in the ads, which show children playing musical chairs and the careers they are going to grow up to do.
The adverts were Liam's first job in showbusiness but he is hoping for big things in the future. "I want to be an actor and I want to be famous as quickly as possible," he said.
The storyline of the adverts, which were filmed in August, was a closely guarded secret. The GUARDIAN was even banned from running a story about Liam last week by the advertising agency, M&C Saatchi.
And Liam made sure that his big break was kept as quiet as possible - he didn't even tell his friends at Park Road School, Great Sankey, about where he had been.
"The first they would have known about it was when it was on the television on Sunday," he said.
Liam travelled down to London to film the adverts with his mum, Alison, and enjoyed an all expenses paid stay in the Hilton Hotel. Liam, who started his acting career by joining drama classes organised by Warrington based company Eurokids, spent a week in the plush surroundings while the scenes were filmed.
Now he's deciding what to spend his wages on. Alison said: "He has already bought a Game Boy, and has said he wants to go to the shops on his own with a pocket full of money!"
