THIS fixture traditionally is a close result, and this league meeting proved no exception.
In conditions which were swamp-like, both sides struggled to get any true momentum going.
The first-half saw the teams turn round pointless, both sides missing scoring opportunities and Moore having a seemingly good try disallowed.
The second-half saw Vulcan go ahead through a penalty with Moore replying straight away with a penalty from Bradbury.
Moore then dominated the second-half putting Vulcan under pressure Moore then took the lead with a penalty from Williamson and then in period of 10 minutes, Moore saw three further tries disallowed.
Vulcan then equalised from a penalty before Moore again took the lead from the boot of Williamson.
With the game nearly over Vulcan were awarded a penalty just inside the Moore half which they converted to tie the game.
Mom for Moore was Rawlings with an outstanding display at flanker.

MOORES seconds' good run of form continued with this victory over Vulcan.
In a close game it was a converted try late in the game that sealed victory for Moore.

MOORES thirds' team struggled to find any rhythm in the first-half and saw themselves 0-30 at half-time.
A spirited second-half performance saw them score 17 unanswered second-half points to give the scoreline respectability.
