NANTWICH pub The Black Lion scooped a top award last week for its excellent real ales.
The Campaign for Real Ale, CAMRA, South Cheshire branch voted the Welsh Row pub as the area's Pub of the Year.
A spokesman said: "This annual award of trophy and commemorative mirror is awarded to the pub which, in the opinion of the branch, has consistently served real ales in excellent condition and at sensible prices."
