BEVERLEY Davies could be the face that launches a thousand chips - computer chips.
The mum of one has just been appointed IT Technician for Flexi Web, Vale Royal's own pioneering distance learning system.
"I'm really looking forward to helping businesses to take advantage of this marvellous new system," said electronics graduate Beverley, from Middlewich.
"Flexi Web is a state of the art learning and business information network that is really user-friendly."
The system was devised by Business Link Vale Royal, Mid Cheshire College and Lynx Technology using funding from Europe.
Staff can be trained to NVQ standard - without leaving the office.
Two hundred firms across Vale Royal are currently getting the chance to test the system for themselves - for free.
