Review of Warrington Sunday Soccer League

NEIL Barker bagged all the goals in Cheshire Hawthorne's 4-0 resounding victory against Kembledean in Warrington Sunday Soccer League's

Premier Division.

Greenwood Star Alarms stormed to the top of Division One with a 6-0 win against Dundalk Athletic. Mark Dawson, in his first game, came on as a substitute and scored a hat-trick. Matty Taylor also came off the bench and scored a brace. Lee Pennington converted a penalty.

Goals from Steve Pennington, three, Darren Moore and M. Prescott saw Spenners Royal beat Wanderers 5-2.

KK Cabs beat Pear Tree 2-1 in Division Two. Derek Musson fired home a penalty and Stephen Jupp added a 25 yards screamer.

Veteran Paul Brocklehurst was the hero for Causeway when his first hat-trick defeated Monk Sports 3-0.

The Cheese maintained their position at the top of Division Three when they outgunned P&SSSC 3-2. Rick Kirby and Paul Croft scored their first goals and Mark Quinn scored the winner.

Having been shocked by a brace from Simon King, Pierpoint and Bryant recovered to a 2-2 draw with Seven Woods thanks to strikes from Micky Pitts and Andy Woodall.

In Division Four's top clash Leigh Borough came out on top 5-2 against General Elliott. Scorers for Leigh were Brian Edwards, two, Gary Prescott, Peter Lumb and Lewis. Chris Jordan and Andy Morton replied for Elliott.

Stocks won 7-2 against Morris International with goals from Matt Topping, two, Micky Conroy, two, Ian Perdue, Peter Hancock and Catterall.

A brace from Tom Wiseman secured the second win of the season for Gas Social against Daresbury Dynamo. David Williams scored for Daresbury.

St. Oswalds increased their lead at the top of Division Five when they overwhelmed Commercial Exhausts 5-1 with strikes from Scott Taylor, three, Dave Cunningham and Steve Hardman.
