PUNCH and Judy showed Croft youngsters the way to do it at a theatre workshop at their school.
The Mustard Lane primary school echoed to cries of 'sausages' as the infants and juniors watched special tailor-made performances. The entertainment was staged by the Liverpool-based Codman's Victorian Punch and Judy Theatre and included an educational slideshow which gave the children an insight into the history of puppetry from across the world.
Deputy headteacher Janet Johnson praised the puppeteers and said: "The children enjoyed the show immensely."
