John Bond said: "We had a good spell after Christmas but at the moment we just can't score. Every team experiences the same problem at some stage, but you don't become a bad team overnight.
"It was only two weeks ago we were picking up an award as the best team in the division. We are looking at bringing in more players but there isn't a lot of quality about at this time of year."
He added: "We aren't going to make process if we keep players who aren't good enough . Marc Hawkes knows he isn't in our future plans - he isn't right for us."
Of his own involvement with the club, he said: "The job is beginning to get to me like it did when I was working at league level, and that is not what I came here for."
