THE campaign to save Halton Haven continues to strike a chord with readers.
Staff at ICI Chance and Hunt in Runcorn have pledged their monthly fund-raising drive in April to the cancer care centre.
Workers will hold a charity day on April 30, with all money going to the Haven.
And readers Tony and Val Drinkwater are selling raffle tickets door-to-door in an effort to save the Haven.
Tony, fom Sutton Weaver, is an insurance agent by trade and will use his job to sell tickets.
Again, all money raised will go to the Haven.
