POLICE are urgently appealing for witnesses after a terrifying ram-raid on Tesco supermarket.
Raiders made off with over £32,000 from the supermarket's cash machines, after driving a car through the glass doorway and brandishing a loaded revolver at the staff.
Detective Inspector Eddie Smith, in charge of the case, said: "These people were professional criminals who meant business. They had it well-planned.
"You can only be left thinking of the terrible consequences if they had used the weapon."
