KNYPERSLEY Vics fought back from going a goal behind against Stourport Swifts on Saturday to earn a well-deserved victory.
Eighth-placed Stourport took the lead seven minutes into the second half of the league clash at the Vics' ground.
However Knypersley rallied to draw level from the restart, and scored twice more to emerge comfortable 3-1 winners.
Vics' keeper Powner saved well from a header on six minutes, and Kinsey hit the post with a looping shot from 25 yards on 26 minutes.
Stourport went ahead on 52 minutes when sloppy defending by Knypersley allowed the ball to be pulled back for a player to score with a shot which bobbled past Powner.
From the restart Shallcross turned in the box to cross to Dutton, who equalised with a tremendous volley.
Two minutes later the visitors were reduced to 10 men when their goalscorer was dismissed for foul play.
The Vics took the lead on 65 minutes with a superb second for Dutton, who swivelled in the box before crashing a shot into the top corner of the net.
Knypersley sealed victory with two minutes to go when James headed home a Thompson cross.
The game represented a landmark 250 appearances for Powner, and player manager Terry Stanway was chosen as the runner-up in the Biddulph sports personality awards on Saturday.
