NEW members are being urged to join the Nantwich and District Branch of the Cheshire Regiment Association.
The Association meets every month and have recently moved from Nantwich to new premises at the Crosville Club in Crewe.
Members have applied for £6,500 worth of funding to revamp the area around the Airman's Grave in the town including adding paving and seats.
The funding bid was sparked off by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust which has donated a Cheshire Oak to be planted on the site.
New, lapsed and serving members are invited to get in touch along with wives who can also now join the Association.
The branch meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 7.45pm, for more information ring 01270 560980.
