A FIRM of Warrington solicitors have scored a hat trick now that one of their partners has been named as a Deputy District Judge.
John Culleton becomes the third man from Steels, the Bold Street firm, to be given the honour. He will join his colleagues Adrian Steel and Phillip Ness on a panel from which deputy judges are appointed to sit in the County Court.
"It's an exciting prospect and a challenge to which I am looking forward, " said John.
"The work can be quite varied, dealing with things that have to be resolved before cases come to trial, money matters, small claims and family law."
The post is part-time and the trio will continue to practise as usual.
