"TREE lover" (letters, January 29) will be pleased to know that in the past two years the Grappenhall and Thelwall Parish Council has planted trees (with help from members of the public) at the playing fields at Barley Road and Euclid Avenue and outside the Barley Road shops. The Council also supported the Woodland Trust politically and financially in its bid to plant the Millennium Wood near Grappenhall Village.
Next time we do some planting we would be happy for "Tree Lover" to join us.
WENDY JOHNSON
Chairman, Grappenhall and Thelwall Parish Council
