THE form book was turned completely on its head when Warrington Sunday Soccer League Division One leaders Greenwood Star Alarms lost their first game of the season.
They went down 2-1 to Wanderers who are struggling but they had heroes in goalscorers Dave Collard and Neil Matthews while the reply was from Ben Wiggins.
Kembledean and Boston Rob drew 1-1 in the Premier Division. John Ruddock was on target for Kembledean and David Ford netted for Boston Rob.
For the second week running General Elliot failed to secure any points when they were beaten 5-2 by Young Gate in Divison Four. The goals for Elliot were from Damian Jones and Danny Chadwick.
Karl Stewart gave Gas Social an early lead but the reply from the Dog and Partridge was to score three goals courtesy of Ian Bancroft, Joe Edwards and Mark Smalley.
Strikes from Mike Jordan and Micky Conroy were not enough as Stocks were beaten 3-2 by Morris International.
St. Oswalds returned to winning ways to maintain pole position in Division Five. They overwhelmed Woodies 5-1 with strikes from Carl Briggs, Dave Cunningham, Mike Mannion and Paul Edmonds.
Five Star Transport are still looking for their first league win of the season after narrowly losing to Callands 4-3. Callands were 3-0 up at half-time thanks to Mark Simpson, Tony Stockton and man of the match Phil Dean. Substitute Wayne Whyte added the fourth for Callands. Mike Clarke, with a brace and Steve Hill replied.
Matthiola were 6-0 winners against Insall Rangers. The damage for Matthiola was from Darren Windsor, two, Roy Sweeney, two and Ian Given.
ESL Warrington, thanks to strikes from Stan Platt and Tony Lee, beat Red Lion 2-1. Simon Wray was on target for Lion.
