MOORE Rugby Union Club's biggest win for many seasons took them another step closer to securing the Thwaites South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Three title on Saturday.
Owestry had no answer to Moore's backs, who scored 10 of the 14 tries.
It was the hard working forwards who gave scrum half Woollacott a good platform to launch the backs on their scoring spree.
Hat-tricks went to Ian Allen, returning to first team action after a long injury lay off, and Bradbury on the wing.
Full back Brown added two, with Stephenson, Potter, Cunningham, Rawlings, Marsden and Williamson adding a try apiece. Williamson kicked 10 goals with A. Hallsworth also scoring a conversion.
Moore travel to Helsby tomorrow, Saturday, with the aim of securing the championship.
The seconds found themselves dominated by a strong pack in their game against Runcorn firsts.
Moore's points came from a try by Harvey, converted by Potter, but they were no more than a consolation in a 32-7 defeat.
Moore thirds were defeated by Runcorn seconds in an ill-tempered game.
