YET another busy shopping period is 'just around the corner' and in the light of the shortage of space at Christmas in the car parks of the town during the peak periods, can I plead (through the GUARDIAN columns) with those drivers who insist on taking up two spaces when parking, to be more mindful of those following behind at a later hour.
It only takes a couple more minutes to check whether you have parked sensibly and to re-align your vehicle if not. Let's think about one another a bit more. It is such a waste of precious weekend minutes or hours, motoring around to find a space to park the car.
