A FIERCELY contested 'derby' ended with Crosfields inflicting Woolston's first league defeat of the season.
Crosfields produced some enterprising attacking rugby to lead 14-4 at half-time and pressed home their advantage in the second half with Brown and Fairhurst leading by example.
Tries were scored by Brown, two, Moore, Elston and Pennington with Gooch adding one goal. Man of the match was shared between Gooch and Brown with Pitt and Healy outstanding in defence.
