GROWTH in the leisure industry will help Warrington to maintain its popularity among retailers - despite the spectre of the Trafford Centre.
That's the view of analysts at the Warrington-based Business Environments group.
Promised new Arena Central developments, off Winwick Road, including a cinema complex, bowling alley, fitness centre and bars, is a key reason for optimism, according to BE director Vince Sandwell.
Other encouraging signs such as a proposed revamp of the Cockhedge Centre and a decision on where a new out-of-town retail site will be allowed, are also seen as indications of Warrington's rosy future.
