DRUGS that are potential killers were stolen along with a vet's car from Lymm on Tuesday.

Thieves stole the metallic green Vauxhall Vectra from Crouchley Lane at about 11.30am.

It contained drugs that are normally used for putting down horses and another normally used as an animal sedative.

The second is a 25ml bottle of sedative Chanizine, which can cause cardio-vascular difficulties.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have found the car or the drugs to contact them immediately.

They also want to speak to anybody who may have seen people acting suspiciously in Crouchley Lane around the time of the the theft.
