GOLDEN WONDER go to the top of the Plettac Runcorn Sunday League First Division after defeating leaders High Leigh 3-6.
Brake and Hughes (2) were on target for the home side but these were cancelled out by Burton (3), Stanton (2) and Diggle.
Waterloo put substitute Pendlebury on with a task to score goals, this he done by finding the net twice but all to no avail as Union Tavern struck back to win 2-3.
Thatto Heath Railway had strikes from Fisher, Doyle and Rylands in their 3-1 win over Hough Green.
The bottom two clubs Columbas Old Boys and Weston Point Seniors met with the points being shared in a 1-1 draw.
A goal from Goldbourne was not enough for Norton Arms as Old Transporter defated them 1-3, in round two of the Bob Orme Challenge Cup.
Also into the next round is Wellie after a 7-1 home win over Simms Cross.
Mom Kelly grabbed the headlines with a fine hat-trick, other goals coming from O'Brien (2), McCormack and Leddon one each, Frodsham making his debut grabbing a consolation goal for the visitors.
Red Admiral live to fight another day after a lucky win at home over High Leigh Reserves 2-1 with De Beaufort and Wilson on target for the victors and McGibbon netting for the losers.
