ON a very heavy pitch the Albion forwards held their own against with good work by Geoff Williams and Mick Donnelly with Ste Lightfoot.
A try by Geoff Jackson off a pass by Darren Yates kept the Albion in the game despite pressure in the second-half could only land a try by Wayne Swindley and a conversion by Chris Fenlon.

THE Albion went 20-0 up after 20 minutes and allowed Weaverham to score 10 of their own.
The second-half continued in the same vein with the visitors scoring 14 points to put the Albion 20-24 in arrears.
They snapped out of their lethargy by scoring 24 points.
