FIFTEEN Halton primary schools will take part in a mini-soccer tournament next week when they will compete for a place in a Silver Jubilee Grand Final.
Organised by the Borough Council's Sports Development Team, heats will take place on Monday and Tuesday March 15 and 16 at The Heath Common in Runcorn and St Michael's RC Primary School in Widnes.
Teams will play off in a mini-league with the top eight schools, four from each town, going forward to the final on April 27 at the Auto Quest Stadium.
The event will mark the 25th anniversary of Halton Borough Council.
