ALSAGER Company of Archers struck gold in the biggest indoor competition ever held in Cheshire.
The club took home an impressive haul of four trophies, as well as seven gold, four silver and five bronze medals.
Andrew Lewis from Haslington won the junior boy trophy, Kate Belfield from Alsager came second in the junior girl category, and Sara Khaleck from Biddulph Moor was third in the same class.
Jill Denham from Sandbach won silver in the ladies compound event, and Paul Bourke, also from Sandbach, took silver in the junior mens compound category.
On the second day of the open Andrew Lewis again won the top trophy, this time in the junior mens recurve, and Paul Bourke won the Pro Shop trophy for first place in the junior boys compound.
Jill Denham missed out on the gold medal in the ladies compound by just one point.
The compound team of Jill and Mike Denham, Martin and Paul Bourke, won the Cheshire team trophy, 30 points behind overall winners Chorley.
The recurve team of Russell Pointon, Brian Belfield, Andrew Lewis and Peter Pass, took third place, 11 points adrift of overall winners Orrell Archers.
Jill Denham won the ladies compound event at the North Wales Open, and Andrew Lewis collected the trophy for the first junior boy in the Olympic Bow discipline.
