YOUNGSTERS Timothy Blythe and Ian Martindale have been swotting up on the work of an MP in readiness for a special high tea.
Timothy and Ian were due to sit down for a cup of Rosie Lea and a chat with Cherie Blair at 10 Downing Street yesterday.
The boys were set to be accompanied by their parents and Congleton MP Ann Winterton, who was offered the chance to invite three children from her constituency to meet the PM's wife.
Ian, aged 12, is a pupil at Westlands High in Congleton, and Timothy, aged 10, attends Smallwood Primary School.
Mrs Winterton was due to meet the trio at the House of Commons before strolling down Whitehall to 10 Downing Street for their memorable afternoon tea.
