POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an early afternoon accident in Alsager which left two people with serious injuries.
The road smash involved a Ford Mondeo and a Vauxhall Cavalier, and happened in Linley Lane just after 2pm on Sunday.
Sgt Blair Wilson said the Cavalier appeared to have lost control on a bend, and was in collision with the Mondeo, which was coming in the opposite direction.
The Mondeo was carrying three people from Holmes Chapel, while the three people in the Cavalier were from Stoke on Trent.
Sgt Wilson said none of the injuries were life-threatening, and any witnesses should ring him on 01244-613261.
