Old Anselmians - 18pts Crewe & Nantwich - 27pts
A VITAL win against Wirral side Old Anselmians banished the threat of relegation for Crewe & Nantwich.
A Russel Harper try from a five-metre scrum and two goals from Simon Robertson pulled back an early defecit to just 13-11 at half time.
After the break Crewe's forwards took control and Harper took advantage of another scrum to score, while Tim Halden scored his first try for the club after winning the line out.
Robertson and Simon Griffiths landed further penalty goals to seal the win.
