WESTON cemetery has had a face lift.
New flower borders have been planted and the main gate has been repaired and painted, with plans for a lavender hedge along both sides of the path in the near future.
"Several months ago I had cause to complain about the general state of the cemetery because it was looking a bit run down and untidy," said local councillor, Mrs Maureen Campbell.
"Now I can praise the council for the recent improvements they have made to ensure that it is once again a pleasant and peaceful resting place."
