WARRINGTON Centre for Gymnasts' total number of national finalists has now hit 20 in four years.
Four of the centre's young stars qualified for the nationals in Birmingham in May at the Compulsory Age Group Championships held at Southport on Sunday.
Eight-year-olds Kayleigh Watson and Abbie Quarmby plus 12-year-olds Emma Jones and Sally Myers shone in their set exercises to qualify for the important event at Birmingham. The country team will be selected on the back of the performances at the nationals.
Centre coach Sandi Gore is delighted with the success of the Warrington quartet.
She said: "It's great news for them all and the club and specially the little ones as they can only start competing at eight years old, so they're off to a good start."
