COMMUNITY organisers are promising a spectacular family day out at the 37th Newton Town Show.
The event, now scheduled for Saturday, August 14, will begin with a carnival procession around Newton, ending at St Aeldred's school field.
On the field will be the ever-popular classic car show, as well as a dog show and a gardeners' marquee. A continuous programme of attractions will include stalls, slide shows and fairground rides.
Fundraisers will hold street collections for this year's designated charity, Larchfields Residential Home.
