YOUNG sports writer Natalie Hallows has used her talent to take her a step closer to meeting the Prime Minister.

The 11-year-old Excalibur School pupil is one of 15 children shortlisted from 90 regional winners in a national competition.

Each entrant had to write about a sporting event and what they would like to ask Tony Blair on their visit to Downing Street. She now only has to survive one more round of judging to win.
