CANCER Research Campaigners from Crewe and Nantwich have joined forces in a bid to increase their fund-raising potential.
The newly formed group has a new logo and an exciting programme of fund-raising events lined up for the next 12 months.
Their largest project, celebrating the millennium, takes place at the Lyceum Theatre in January 2000.
This special millennium showcase will feature talent from local music and dance organisations together with schools in the borough.
It will involve seven evenings of variety entertainment ranging from Music Hall to 'A Last Night of the Proms Evening'.
"South Cheshire is blessed with a rich array of talent and this will be seen at its very best during this exciting and unique week," said committee chairman Mrs Sheila Burgess.
