THE TRANNY travelled to Halewood for this Sunday League fixture and recorded a deserved win.
The game started with the Tranny playing the more controlled football and pressing the game.
The breakthrough came when Gary Tyrell won a race to the ball inside the penalty box to cut back a fine ball for Coadey to score after 20 minutes.
Despite controlling the play the Tranny could not increase their lead before half-time.
The second-half started much as the first with the Tranny on top and it was no surprise when Gary Tyrell ran through to score after 10 minutes after some neat build-up play.
The Tranny were playing the best football in the game and after 20 minutes Mike Smith ran onto a neat crossfield pass to volley past the goalkeeper for a 3-0 scoreline.
St Andrews made substitutions to try and chase the game but were again caught on the counter-attack with five minutes remaining when Gary Coadey scored after a fine move to round off a good victory for the Tranny.
