The crew clocked the fastest time of 20 minutes 56 seconds in the Chester Head of the River to follow on from their victory in the national schools Head of the River in London.
The crew was Zofia Rutkowski, Lucy James, Kylie Langridge and Shelly Alder with Lucy Rossall as cox.
There was also success for the women's senior 2 eight, who finished fourth in a time of 20 minutes 12 seconds despite racing in a borrowed boat.
Meanwhile, the two men's eights warmed up for their forthcoming national Head in London with two good displays. The men's senior 1 eight were sixth with 17 minutes 5 seconds and the men's senior 3 eight were fourth with 17 minutes 45 seconds. In London they will be up against 418 other eight crews competing on the four mile Boat Race course.
THE Northwich RC Head will be held on Bank Holiday Monday, April 5.
