POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road accident in Delamere when a 25-year-old motorcyclist died.
The accident happened at around 6.30pm last Saturday, just after Heidi Roberts, from Chester, had turned a bend on Ashton Lane.
Her Ducati 900cc motorcycle left the road and she fell down an embankment, ending up at the bottom of a seven foot ditch.
No other vehicles were involved.
An ambulance spokesman said the spot where Heidi landed couldn't be seen from the road.
A car had been following her but she was unknown to the occupants.
"If the people in the car hadn't seen the accident she could have lain there for hours," he said.
Heidi, of Chester Road, Huntington, was taken to The Countess of Chester Hospital but died about an hour later.
Anyone who saw the accident should ring 01244 350222 and ask for the traffic office.
