I would just like to make a point in praise of postmen.
Last week, March 17, was my birthday. A friend posted a card for me on March 16 at 7pm in Liverpool, this is what was on the envelope: Pat, Cambridge Close, Nr. Warrington.
Imagine my suprise to find this envelope through my letter box on the morning of March 17 at Cambridge Gardens, Appleton. So please do not be so quick to condemn our postmen, because I think they are wonderful. They do a fantastic job in all weathers and my particular postman is always very polite and dedicated to his job.
PAT ROOTH, Appleton
